Profile Gerbrand Nijman, CEO:
Twenty years experience in the Telecom sector (a.o. Royal KPN, Celtel, GTH), four years in Financial Services (AEGON) and six years in the Food Industry (Unilever). Positions held were CEO, CFO and Head of Investor Relations at large caps with listings in Africa, Europe and USA.

Since 2015, he has been responsible as Group CFO for the restructuring of Global Telecom Holding S.A.E. (“GTH”), to stream line the organisation, including mergers, disposals and liquidation of entities. GTH was a company listed on the Stock Exchanges of London and Cairo with more than 100 million mobile subscribers and more than 70 entities in:
– Africa: Algeria, Egypt, Tunisia
– Americas: Canada, USA
– Asia: Bangladesh, Pakistan
– Europe: England, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Switzerland, The Netherlands
– Middle East: Dubai, Iraq, Jordan
The succesful restructuring let to that GTH has been delisted and consists of approx. ten companies.
